Nicole L. Weston joined Kevin L. Mannix, P.C. in the summer of 2019 as an associate to focus on public safety improvements and victims’ rights issues. Ms. Weston returned home to Oregon after nearly seventeen years as a Senior Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for King County Washington where her practice primarily focused on victim crimes. As a Prosecutor, Ms. Weston prosecuted and tried several misdemeanor cases as well as numerous felony assault, domestic violence, and sexual assault cases. She was a supervisor in the District Court, Juvenile (Gang), Domestic Violence, and Special Assault Units. In her role of a supervisor she was tasked with overseeing, mentoring, and assisting other attorney’s while, in most units, still maintaining her own caseload. As a supervisor in the Special Assault Unit, Ms. Weston was also tasked with assisting in investigations, medial staffing’s, autopsies, and preparation for filing and trying severe child abuse and child homicide cases. Ms. Weston is passionate about victims’ rights and the safety of the community. She will continue to strive to serve those who are in most need and continue to provide people an opportunity to have their voices heard while striving for justice.
